About
I am associate professor in economics since 2016 at Université Côte d’Azur (formerly Université Nice Sophia Antipolis), after having written a thesis in 2015 on the normative issues raised by behavioral economics, under the supervision of Francis Bloch and Robert Sugden. Before coming to Nice, I held a teaching associate position in 2015-2016 at the University of Bristol. I am co-director of the double master in Sociology-Economics offered by the Université Côte d’Azur, and I direct the master in behavioral and digital economics. Since February 2021, I am also in charge of international relations at EUR ELMI (the faculty of economics and management of the Université Côte d’Azur). My research focuses on behavioral economics, normative economics, the history of economic thought, and game theory, and aims to study (i) the formation of preferences and beliefs of economic agents, as well as (ii) the normative and policy implications of the endogeneity of preferences and beliefs. In particular, I am interested in the growing role of behavioural sciences in the design of public policies (including the use of nudges and boosts) and in the issues of ethical issues that these raise. Since 2020, I have been piloting a project involving economists, psychologists, and doctors, focusing on the prevention of risky behaviors and the fight against addictions among 18-25 year olds.
